ARIES
Lance
World + 5 of Swords + 10 of Pentacles
Aries, the Ram that keeps getting back up and is singular in their goals and efforts, what do you seek this season? I believe each sign has a beauty of spirit they share in the world. Aries embraces the “beauty of emergent conflict,” that growth and change require us to be immersed in the difficulty if we desire to be both participant and co-creator. The celestial Ram does not run away (it probably takes some breaks and vacations to heal and recharge tho!).
There is often the idea that we, as individuals, have achievements or should be individually credited for “our” accomplishments. If we change the perspective from our self to that of the surrounding situation, we can find countless causes & conditions that formed our experience. The World presents this paradox of experiencing center stage while also standing vulnerable amidst the interconnectedness of life.
With the Five of Wands emerging from this grand perspective of the World, we FEEL the conflict of paradox. Our individuality comes right up against that interdependence. Conflict can sort out our intentions, sort out our relationships, give us a time to rearrange and determine the direction we want to go as an individual, but we cannot ignore those around us waving their own sticks around, mindful or not of their environment.
In those moments where we try to reconcile that personal, career, academic, or social conflict and aim to emerge from it as co-creators I offer this practice for you Aries children- reach deep down into those connections of community and experience that have brought you to your own perceived achievements. The 10 of Coins is our spiritual and material inheritance. Rely on your friends, family by blood or choice, your past teachers, mentors, influencers, lay it out to your ancestors, your lovers, and your pets. Be vulnerable and express gratitude to the world that has supported you up to now. In my view, these two are not separate. When we get overwhelmed by our struggles, it is easy to lose focus on the larger perspective of being in the middle of a stream of time extending back and forward and shaped by our relationships. You are not alone in whatever you name and face this season as your point of conflict.
How are your present personal goals and past achievements reliant on the resources, knowledge, efforts, and experience within your community? How is the friction in your life right now a point in your larger story of coming into personal truth and spiritual insight?

TAURUS

Cosmos Tarot & Oracle Deck – Light Grey Art Lab
“He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.”
– Lao Tzu
Taurus – there’s a fine line between partnerships with the right folks and controlling relationships for the sake of stroking your ego.
Approaching Gemini season with resolution and care, the Four of Water encourages that we remain diligent in creating stable partnerships with those who seek loyalty and focused goals. Even with the chattering of the distance, the minds begin to meld in a complete unison; partaking in events where we can exemplify our greatest strengths while taking consideration of our weaknesses. As such, building a foundation where it’s concrete can provide long-term results when establishing relationships with like-minded individuals who have your best interest. Procrastination is not your best friend during this time. Even if you have justifiable cause, poor excuses shouldn’t be the reason why you don’t want to build bridges.
The High Priestess opens up an invitation to look beyond the awkwardness and consumption of parlaying in ridiculous notions that one may have established in the past. Remember – it’s easy to get caught up on the stream of trends (i.e., how many folks who support our visions, how many allies, how many enemies) society may have placed upon us thinking on what’s right for the constitution in creating perfect relationships. As such, we must be aware that our actions could be on the brink of promoting manipulation. Think about this for a second – what is it that you truly value? Do you want a plethora of folks to become allies through psychological force? Or do you tremendously care about the well being of others when you advocate for your social causes?
The Page of Air reminds us that throughout the season, we may be tempted to hide behind the scenes in a sheer effort of avoiding ridicule. Whether if rumors are spread or merely an expressed dissatisfaction with your methods, this is a time where you need to make your actions known. Protecting yourself from social trauma may require a deep dive into the subconscious; asking ourselves if our versions are what we truly honor on the surface. Do we want others to see us as brave and dependable? Or are we worried that others may see us as imperfect beings, incapable of holding up responsibilities?
The lesson for Gemini season (as portrayed by the Uranus oracle card) is about tapping into our wounds of pride and our essence of integrity. What is it that we want to feel during the season? Perhaps during this time, we may feel a sense of indulgence in encapsulating ourselves to the brink of drunkenness in fame. A sense of erotic passion may surface as we want to take a gamble in fortifying relationships that make us feel confident, sexy and powerful. We may think that we are the royalty in our domain, but once someone or something shakes up our foundations, it’s time to take note in differentiating the realities versus the illusions we’ve created for ourselves. It can be tempting to create power plays based on our anger, but it’ll end up becoming short-term as you’re setting yourself up for faulty foundations. Learn to honor those vices, but know that it’s not your sole source of happiness. Creating valuable relationships based on integrity goes a long way. Avoid treating your relationships like toys in a dollhouse. They’re not made of plastic and have volitions of their own.

GEMINI
Vix
Crystal Unicorn Tarot – Pamela Chen + Lisa Higuchi, 2017
Vessel Oracle – Mary Elizabeth Evans – 2015
Hey there gorgeous Gemini,
This moonth your messages are going to include a little bit of tough love. But as a Gemini, I know you can handle it, and sometimes you thrive on it!
You’ve been asking for more abundance in your life in some way or form. Maybe you’ve been asking for more money, energy, time or love.
But many of us Geminis have been wasting a lot of energy and time trying to call in more abundance when we’re not fully connected to the abundance that’s already present in our own lives.
The Crystal Unicorn Tarot cards give us some insight into two big things we need to work on shifting to really be able to call in and connect with the abundance (whatever that is to you!) we want to manifest.
The message the Emperor has for us is basically, “you’ve gotta get your shiz together.” There are things you are asking for that you already have. How can you possibly manifest something when you can’t even see that it has manifested in your life already? How can you keep asking for more time when you’re wasting the time you have? How can you keep asking for more money when you’re not spending the money you do have consciously?
Have a think about what you want. Now take some time to be grateful for how it’s already showing up for you.
The Four of Swords comes in to remind you to chill the fudge out. Geminis can pretty easily get caught in a loop of the great idea, hustle, burnout, repeat. This no longer has to be your pattern. Be sure to take time to chill, to let things settle. Rest before you need to.
It’s very hard to connect to abundance energy when you are so busy rushing around getting things done.
If you really want to move into more of those abundance and prosperity vibes, take some time out to cultivate a bit of clarity and rest and recharge.
With love, light and chilled out sorting it out,
Vix

CANCER
Gina
Jonasa Jaus Tarot, self-published, 2016.
Gemini season has you navigating between two desires, dear Cancer. On the one, hand you want to test out your ideas and get things done. On the other, you’re feeling a deep pull towards rest and contemplation. Both share a goal, however. You’re on your way towards a greater feeling of stability, and you’d like to enjoy all the fruits of your labor. What’s accomplishment without celebration and pleasure?
Your reading for the upcoming weeks is showing you how a larger process of becoming is pulling you away from your usual plan of action. It might seem counterintuitive at first – why step back when you could rush forward, sword swinging in your hand, looking fierce and ready to take care of business?
The Five of Swords is showing us that this approach, although initially gratifying (it feels good to exercise your will, doesn’t it?) is leading you towards unnecessary conflict and even hurt. Proceeding at full speed puts you at the risk of unintentionally offending those close to you, burning bridges you might want intact later.
Instead, The Hanged Man appears to direct you down a different path. This path is instinctual, meaningful, and rich. It represents playing a longer game than you’re used to and requires taking space and time to allow a new perspective to come into focus. Consider taking a quick trip by yourself, or embracing small bits of time to do something out of your ordinary schedule. Regardless of what you choose to do, be sure to pay attention to yourself with non-judgment and curiosity. What is slowly emerging in you? Is it a character trait, a new role, or a way of thinking about the world?
Whatever emerges will allow you to see better just how powerful and present you are. And the practice itself – making space for your thoughts and the magic of the universe – may even be more important. Looking at your life from the perspective of The Hanged Man is allowing you to see how much of the King of Pentacles you’re carrying within. It’s not the cutthroat rush of the Five of Swords. Leaning back and opening up is showing you how central you are in this rich life of yours. The only remaining task is to open up and enjoy it.

LEO
Pluto
Wild Unknown Tarot Harper One 2016
Fearless friends! Don’t let your precious insights and clarity go to waste. When inspiration strikes, be decisive and follow up with an action plan. Write. Your. Stuff. Down. Your perspective IS valuable. Use your knowledge and skills to create something amazing. Something that lets your authentic self and experience show. Allow your heart to mingle with your brain to make your ideas even better. As you dream, the Ace of Swords can help you to stay grounded and in touch with reality. Too much whimsy can unhinge you, while too much reality will bury you in mundanity.
On your journey, you may encounter more options than usual. More choices are not always better. Be discerning and don’t get sucked in by shiny illusions that tantalize. When you have an urge to chase a thought or idea, mindfully observe that desire. What’s your motivation? What do you hope to accomplish? Is there a hidden agenda? What are the potential consequences? How do you feel in your body when you visualize that option? Just because something tugs at your heartstrings doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
If things go pear-shaped, be kind and gentle with yourself. Talk to yourself like you would talk to a friend who experienced a setback. Know that failure is part of the process. Identify what aspects you can control or change and focus your energy there. Wallowing and self-pity aren’t great company if you want to keep progressing. Debrief with yourself. Review where things went wrong, what you would have done differently and at least one thing that you did well. Remember that you will continue to grow and improve wherever you invest your time and energy. A non-judgmental stance feeds creativity and exploration because taking risks first requires that you have a safe home base where your worth is not dependent on performance.

LIBRA
Asali
Gorgon’s Tarot ©2014 by Dolores Fitchie
Too many barriers show up for us in this reading, and worse still they are too much of our own making.
The Two of Swords sits with the Moon in Libra, it is where we feel safest and surest because it allows us to be wholly in our airy element, mental focus sharp and analytical, and all those pesky emotions safely behind us. We close our eyes to all external input and focus instead on ourselves, relish in the quiet for a while. This may be where we feel safest, but it is not where we are most well, and it is not for us to stay too long. The Two of Swords comes to ask you to open your eyes and lower your swords.
Good boundaries let the light in. All around us are support systems waiting to be engaged. In both the King of Cups and the Five of Pentacles, the figures are reminded to come back to what is real by their familiars, nipping at their elbow or shaking their shoulder, asking us to open our eyes and see that help is available.
We are allowed brokenness, softness, and mistakes. Cutting ourselves off from our heart does us no favors and no longer provides that desperately sought clarity, just a detached approach to our world. At our best, Libras are the divine balance of mind and heart, and cutting pieces of ourselves off from the others leaves us frustrated and blinded to what may be right in front of us. For Gemini season, we are reminded that despite previous experiences, our vulnerability will not always be our doom, and it can even be our salvation.

SCORPIO
Serena
The Steampunk Tarot (Barbara Moore) by Llewellyn
The tarot cards that showed up for you this season Scorpios are; The Empress, Ten of Cups, Four of Pentacles and Three of cups.
This season brings your healing, growth and financial security. This is the season to rejoice as well as conceive. Now this conception could be an actual birth or birth of an idea into reality. It’s time to express your creative instincts in a productive and fulfilling manner. Any artistic endeavor that you may decide to proceed with will prosper.
Continue putting in efforts and hard work because this is the moment where you could come across the fruits of your labor. The results might be larger than what you may have been anticipating. Sacrifice or hardships that you might have been facing lately will come to an end. Moreover, there is a possibility that you are given a promotion in your work/job.
This is a cheerful season where you will be able to share your feelings and emotions with others. You would want to be nurturing and loving towards your partners. Exchange of gifts between loved ones is possible. Marriage/pregnancy seems quite likely. On the other hand, there can be some issues related to your family. Perhaps you plan a gathering and things might not turn out the way you wanted them to, or someone causes trouble that disrupts the lives of your loved ones.
Don’t be afraid to take risks. Neither should you rigidly hold onto deeply ingrained beliefs just to maintain the status quo. Don’t hold onto emotions or physical things just to be on the safe side because it may look safe and sound but it won’t be any good for you in reality. Consequently, you could decide to cut people out of your life. If there’s a clash of interests, don’t focus too much on your emotions as it will cause further strife. Things could turn sour if you are not willing to compromise, be it your personal or professional life. So try to be practical and realistic.
You may come across an attractive opportunity for travel. However, there might be a slight delay in your plans but a change of scenery will be good for you.
This season Scorpios, it’s advisable to take up a hobby that helps to relax, ground and makes you more connected to the Earth and Nature. Also, try to introduce green vegetables in your diet. All in all, it should be a joyful season for you.
The focus for Gemini season should be delegation, achievement, creativity and harmony.

SAGITTARIUS
Ariel
Mystic Mondays Tarot (Grace Duong, 2017)
It’s time to take a big long look in the mirror Sag!
What baggage are you still carrying with you? What’s weighing you down? You can’t step fully and freely into the future with all this crap on your back!
Is the baggage you’re carrying worth it? Is it adding joy to your life or undue stress and anxiety?
What have you been projecting into the future?
Are you afraid of facing retribution for your past actions or lack thereof? Are you afraid of what you might find within? That it will only lead to guilt and hardships? That you wouldn’t have lived up to the standards you hold yourself to? That you have denied your sense of justice and balance and put your sense of right and wrong on the back burner in order to charge ahead or prove your point?
Stop deflecting Sag! Stop running away. The Universe will continue to make this a point. What you resist persists. You may encounter countless people and situations that bring this issue to your attention until you step up and take responsibility.
You won’t be able to move any further along your path without taking a look at yourself.
Have you been playing judge, jury, and executioner? Be just, honest, and fair with yourself and others this Gemini season. Take a new stand – the truth. The real truth. Your truth. Be open to listening to higher wisdom. Stop tuning out your Higher Self! No longer allow your ego to run the show. It wants you to live up to impossible standards. Find your humility. How can you level the scales between your ego and your authentic self?
Find real balance by making peace with the duality that is you – your ego and your Higher Self.
You may even feel called to take up a new cause, take a stand for social justice, or become an activist this Gemini season! Also, you may be required to make a significant decision this Gemini season. Have an important court date coming up or legal matters that need to be taken care of? Be sure to operate with a calm and level head. Listen to all sides of the situation with a cool and clear thought process. Take emotions out of it – remember there are three sides to every story.
From my soul to yours,
xo Ariel

Ah, Capricorn, spring is in full swing! The temperatures are consistently warmer, the birds are chirping, flowers in full bloom — all you want to be able to do is enjoy it, but the weight of this past winter is still heavy on your shoulders. How can you just leave behind all that’s transpired, even though you know focusing on the future and staying positive are supposed to be the recipe for success?
Here’s a secret, little goat: you are the recipe for success. Mindsets don’t keep you from something or draw it to you, action does! Nothing has stopped you before, and nothing can now either. The fact that you’re allowing yourself all this time to process your emotions is actually a huge sign of how far you’ve come! In fact, sooner than you think you will feel ready to dust off and leave your dark chambers to face the light of day once more, finding yourself transformed into a truer, more focused version of your old self. One with a plan, one ready to say “yes” to the new possibilities opening up now and make them your own. You’re ready to climb back on the horse, this past winter’s essential lessons deeply integrated.
Capricorn, you can feel safe settling into this new way of being. You have found work that you enjoy, you feel supported in your goals and see yourself reflected in what you are pursuing. What has happened is not some recurring horror, but instead was the Universe stepping in to burn away a hanger-on that you weren’t ready to release on your own. Now that the dust has settled, you’re prepared to reignite your personal spark, ready to remind yourself of your innate ability to turn straw into gold, and to use that to pave your way up the proverbial mountain <3<3

AQUARIUS
Siobhan
The Mesquite Tarot 2017
“There can be a progression to the dream; there can be steps to it. When you dissect any successful person’s story, it’s really rare that it was all or nothing. It’s steps, and I just try to remind myself of that in terms of the things that I want; it’s like, everything is a step, leading you to where you need to go.”
— Ava DuVernay
Theme | Progression
How to work it
Decan 1 | Decan 2 | Decan 3
Gemini season asks for different. And so this Scope is.
In this card pull, we share the theme, those of us born at the first ten degrees of Aquarius, sorta like the first ten days, those born at the second ten and the third. But each of us three kinds of Aquarius has our own card for how to work with this theme. What do you think of this format? I’d love it if you told me in the comments.
The Wheel of Fortune card here looks like movement around what’s missing. It speaks of the broader context. It implies a light source and a dance, a natural sequence. It details the cosmic combination that unlocks being.
We are called to expand.
Our attention is drawn to all that that entails, the contraction, the darkness, the movement toward and stillness. Look at the card numbers. Notice how many fours and tens.
We are for the ten.
We are four and ten.
We are foundation and integration, cause and effect.
We are progression.
If you are a first decan Aquarius, mimic the theme. Become progress incarnate, grasping the disparate and proceeding with alchemy’s blessing. Now is the time for revolutionary thinking like yours. Even when what you’ve got on hand seems useless, inconvenient, or even scarce. Consider it an invitation to invoke your Midas touch and transform the threads of your life.
If you are a second decan Aquarius, You can’t get away with clinging to the old way anymore. You are being called out by the cosmic chorus: Sun, Moon, Saturn, Bull, Chiron-the-fixer, and mother-of-rebellion, Uranus. An arrow for every convention you try to uphold. An arrow for every time you shrink from your duty. You’re tempted to play dead because you feel stuck. Either rest in earnest or get moving. The jig is up.
If you are a third decan Aquarius, Be ready to be a little surprised. You might not be able to call your wins. Keep it weird and flexible, and you stand to learn about yourself. Keep moving and stay open and the particulars of your process will reveal itself to you, kinks and all. Be ready to wear your clothes inside and then investigate the integrity of the stitching.
All of us Aquarians might trend on the overstimulated side.
Remember to dance.
Remember you are dancing.

PISCES
Diana
Persephone Tarot published in 2017 by Circo Tarot/Marisa de la Peña
Dear, sweet Pisces. Gemini season probably isn’t your favorite. The Sun in Gemini likes fast talking, fast thinking, fast action — there’s not much space for the dreams and feelings you’d rather sink into. For those of you with Pisces Sun, this is one of the months when the transiting Sun squares your natal Sun, creating the perfect context for challenges to the tenderest parts of your ego. For Pisces Rising darlings, the Sun in Gemini can bring acute moments of competitive conflict. But if you work with these energies wisely, you’ll emerge with a greater sense of self-unity, and, hopefully, better words to articulate the emotional world you’ve mastered.
Tapping into the Piscean waning Moon of Taurus season, I pulled the FOUR OF PENTACLES as your Gemini theme. What are you hiding, Pisces? What creations and gifts are you clinging to so tightly others can’t begin to appreciate them, can’t begin to share in the joys you’ve built? As a theme for this month, the Four of Pentacles asks you to assess your boundaries — not just to make them stronger, but to see where their overdevelopment is preventing connection with others.
From here, I asked a twofold question: where can you find more generosity with yourself? And where can you find more generosity with others?
Pisces, give yourself the gift of the EIGHT OF PENTACLES REVERSED. There have been times when your efforts have led to failure, but within those failures, you’ve learned priceless lessons. Give yourself more opportunities to experiment, more space to make for the sake of making, more leeway to fail spectacularly, more time to be lazy — without clinging so tightly to concepts of mastery.
And to others? Give the NINE OF PENTACLES REVERSED. Your anxieties are a burden, yes, but you don’t have to carry them alone. As Gemini’s talkativeness is illumined by the Sun, how can you find ways to communicate your fears and insecurities? Go beyond your therapist: there are those around you who would be relieved to know that you, too, worry about material well-being. Your Four of Pentacles tight-fistedness goes arm-in-arm with fears around success and survival — speak these feelings, however you can, as a gift to those who feel isolated in their anxiety.
Within this, where can you find grounding & stability? The ACE OF PENTACLES is your light at the end of the tunnel, Pisces. After all those other Pentacles, the upright Ace is a reminder to trust in your ability to make and make do with what you have and with what you are given. Open yourself to new resources. Allow the depths of your watery, transcendental emotions to nourish the earth you’re made of, the earth you stand on.

Well that Pisces Reading was just perfect!! Thank you!
Isn’t Diana great! I also loved this scope!
Thanks for the wonderful Leo horoscope, Pluto! xx
thank you for the feedback, Kate! My Leo rising felt this one too!
You are so welcome! Glad it resonated!!!
I love the Scorpio horoscope. It felt like a nice big hug in word form.
Thank you for the feedback. Glad to be of help!
I know these ‘scopes have been out for a minute, but I’ve been wanting to say how much I appreciate and look forward to them!!! I’m a Virgo sun+moon with a Cancer rising. The ‘scopes are always so on point and super thoughtful – they always really resonate with whatever’s going on for me, sometimes really eerily so. Combining Tarot+astrology in this feels really tangible and helps me focus.
I started subscribing to Gina’s weekly email readings and wow!!! they’ve really been helping me get perspective on the week ahead — or to help figure out what the hell just happened, if I read them at the end of the week 😛
It’s never too late to tell us what you think!! Gina herself has said “it sometimes feels like we blog in a vacuum…” and I can relate to this! We don’t know what folks think, or even if they read our work unless they tell us. Ty so much for telling us what you think, how you use these Scopes, and how much you loved getting to know Gina even better!
